Description
|
The
objective of the project was to design a prototype for a PIC based CAN module
which communicates with other CAN enabled module connected in a CAN network.
This project helped in understanding the communication through a CAN network
with microcontroller devices.
Three Nodes have been designed. First
node having the function of keypad,
second having function of LCD and
third with the temperature sensor all these nodes interconnected
through the CAN bus. When key ‘0’ is pressed it is send on CAN bus the
temperature sensor Node will accept this key and transmit the sensed
temperature on the CAN bus which is accepted by LCD Node and displays the
temperature on the LCD display. If any other key is pressed LCD Node will
accept the key and display message “invalid key”.

Description
|
The
objective was to design a production counter to make work easier and free from manual errors for the
production line in B- Foundry called “ARPA-900”. The project involves
the interfacing of LED Displays, keypad and an inductive proximity detector
to Microcontroller. The microcontroller is programmed for displaying
- Target
count given
through keypad.
- Present
count in which
output of sensor is used as present count.
- Total
count for each
shift count.
If
any mould is rejected then present count decrements.
